TRUM is an underwriting manager for tourism and hospitality businesses. It was formed in 2018 and is part of the firstEquity Insurance Group of South Africa.
It arranges cover for lodges, camps, transport fleets, wildlife and related risks across southern Africa and the Indian Ocean islands, with insurance capacity provided by syndicates at Lloyd's of London.
TRUM is licensed by the Financial Services Commission in Mauritius and registered as a financial services provider in South Africa.
